How to use FanBot

Everything from your first login to fine-tuning the helper: what each button does, how the settings work and the few things worth knowing. The numbered pictures match the numbered points in the text. A browser is all you need.

Getting started

Five steps from buying to a helper that plays on its own. The first time takes about fifteen minutes.

  1. 1

    Buy a slot

Open a ticket under Support (purchase or extension) and choose your plan. The bank transfer details appear in the form; after paying, add a screenshot of the receipt to the ticket and we set up your slot.
  2. 2

Your account and slot are prepared

Create your panel account, or let us create it for you. We assign your slot and its device, and it appears in My Panel.
  3. 3

Sign in to your game account

Pick your slot and press Game account at the top. Enter the e-mail of your Rise of Kingdoms account and type the one-time code Lilith e-mails you — or use your password, and the helper types it for you.
  4. 4

    Choose what the helper does

Press OPEN HELPER SETTINGS, switch on the activities you want, adjust their options and press Save.
  5. 5

    Start the helper

Press the big START button of your slot. Opening the game takes a minute or two (sometimes up to five); then the slot shows Helper active and the event log on the right shows what the helper is doing.

Game settings are taken care of

Each time it starts, the helper sets the game up for itself: graphics on the lowest quality and the sound off. You do not need to change anything in the game.

Your panel

My Panel has three columns: your slots on the left, the slot you pick in the middle and the event log on the right. On a phone they come one below the other.

My Panel: your slots on the left, the slot you picked in the middle, the event log on the right. Names and numbers are examples.
  1. 1Slot list — every slot with its governor, its status (or its marches while it runs), what the helper is doing, its action points, the five resources, ID and alliance, and the time left. Each slot has its own START / STOP, Stream (live screen) and Settings buttons. Search by slot or governor name, ID, alliance or City Hall (for example “CH 25”), or show only active or waiting slots. Press a slot to open it in the middle.
  2. 2Slot header — the slot’s name (the pencil renames it), its status and the time left (point at it to see the date), Get help, Game account until your game account is signed in, and the big START / STOP button.
  3. 3Governor — your governor’s picture, name, City Hall and VIP level, alliance, power and kill points, read from the game about once a minute while the helper runs.
  4. 4Preview and resources — the latest picture of the game, renewed about once a minute while the helper runs (tap it to see it large, or press Live stream to watch live), what the helper is doing right now, the five resources in your city with what came in today, and your action points. Daily gains opens the day-by-day totals.
  5. 5Settings and scheduler — OPEN HELPER SETTINGS opens what the helper does; the card shows whether your last settings are applied. EDIT SCHEDULER sets when it runs; its card shows the next start.
  6. 6Active marches — while the helper runs, every army on the map: its commanders and troops, what it was sent for and its target, whether it is on the way, gathering or coming home, its load or health and the time left. Scouts that are out show in the Scout Camp row.
  7. 7Event log — what the helper does, line by line, as it happens. See “Event log” below.

With Attack Baulur on, a list of Baulur canyons appears under the active marches: the canyons the helper knows, whether Baulur is there or dead and when it comes back, your armies there and when the next round starts.

STOP stops the helper; START starts it again, and opening the game takes a minute or two. While the helper is offline the button is greyed out, and your last command is carried out as soon as it is back. With no activity switched on, START does not start the slot: turn on at least one activity in the settings first.

What the status means

  • Helper active — the helper is playing.
  • Starting… — the game is opening; this takes a minute or two. If it has not opened after 3 minutes, the panel closes it and opens it again.
  • On hold — our team paused the helper on its computer for a moment (for example to check something); it carries on by itself.
  • Device not responding — the helper cannot reach the game; this usually fixes itself within a few minutes.
  • No response from the game — the helper has had no answer from the game for a while. If it goes on, the helper restarts the device by itself (a few times a day at most); if that is not enough, our team takes a look.
  • Helper offline — the helper is offline; the buttons wait until it is back.
  • Error — something went wrong; the line under the picture says what. The helper usually recovers by itself.
If Device not responding or Helper offline lasts longer than a few minutes, write to us under Support.

Signing in to the game

Press Game account at the top of your slot to sign your Rise of Kingdoms account in on it. The helper pauses while it signs in; if it was running, it starts again by itself afterwards. If it was not, the panel takes you to the helper settings: switch on the activities you want, press Save, then go back to your panel and press START.

The Game account window: choose how to sign in, enter the e-mail, then type the code Lilith sends you.
  1. 1Choose how — with a code, Lilith e-mails you a one-time code and your password is never needed; with your password, it is typed into the game once and deleted right away. We never store it.
  2. 2E-mail — enter the e-mail of your game account (and the password, if you chose it) and start the sign-in.
  3. 3Code — type the code from Lilith’s e-mail. If it does not arrive, check the spam folder; after a minute you can ask for a new code. Always use the newest one: after three wrong codes the sign-in stops.

When the window says the account is signed in, the helper plays on it; Game account disappears once the helper has read your governor. To move the slot to another game account, write to us under Support. If the game ever signs the account out completely, the helper cannot get in: your slot shows a warning and Sign in to your game account, and signing in again lets it carry on where it stopped. With notifications on, you hear about it on your phone too.

On some devices the helper can type only English letters, digits and the usual keyboard symbols. If your password has other characters, use the code sign-in. If your e-mail address has them, write to us under Support.

You can close the window

The sign-in carries on if you close the window. Press Game account again to see how far it got or to type the code.

Live screen

Live stream, on the preview picture of your slot, shows the game as it is running on our server, in real time, while the helper runs. The window that opens when you tap the picture and the Stream button in the slot list open it too.

The live screen is for watching. The badge under it shows how many live views are left this hour.
  1. 1Watch only — the live screen shows what the helper is doing; taps on it do nothing. To sign your game account in, use Game account at the top of your slot.
  2. 2Picture and full screen — Save picture downloads the current picture and Full screen fills your screen with it.
  3. 3Views left — each slot’s live screen can be opened a few times an hour. The badge under the picture shows what is left: green, orange on the last one, red when none are left — the window then says in how many minutes you can open it again.
If the game needs something the helper cannot do on its own — a name for a new character or a security check, for example — write to us under Support and we will help.

Choppy picture?

How smoothly the picture updates depends on your internet connection. A slow connection only affects watching — the helper itself keeps working normally.

One live screen per account

Your account can have a slot’s live screen open in one place: opening it in another tab closes the first one. Our support team can watch at the same time without closing yours. A live screen nobody moves the mouse over pauses after about five minutes; Open again continues it and counts as a new view.

What is recorded

Each live screen session is logged with its time and IP address, for security. The live picture is never recorded; only the latest preview picture of each slot is kept.

Settings

OPEN HELPER SETTINGS opens all the settings of the slot on one page.

The settings page: profiles at the top, activities on the left, the chosen activity’s options on the right, Save at the bottom.
  1. 1Profiles — load a ready-made or your own profile, or save the current set-up as one (see “Profiles” below). Reset everything to default on the same row puts every setting back to its default; nothing changes until you save.
  2. 2Search and filter — Search activities finds an activity by name; the tabs next to it show all activities, only those that are on, or only those you changed.
  3. 3Activities — sorted into groups, each with how many are on. You see only the groups of your slot’s plan: with Solo every group except Alliance Management and Kingdom Management, with Leader only those two, with both plans all of them. The switch turns an activity on or off, the star keeps it at the top under Favorites, and pressing its name opens its options (on a phone, on a page of its own). Activities marked Automatic have no switch: the helper always does them. Activities marked In development are still being built; you can turn them on here once they are ready. Some small activities share one row, such as Daily Tasks: the number beside it shows how many of them are on, and pressing it lists them, each with its own switch.
  4. 4Options — the chosen activity’s options; an empty number box shows its default. The Guide button next to the title explains the activity, and a button under it puts the activity back to its original settings. Activities that send armies have numbered troop queues: turn on Use this queue for each queue you want and choose its commanders and the rest of its options. Changing an option of an activity that is off, or turning on one of its queues, turns the activity on; turning off its last queue turns it off again.
  5. 5Saving — once you change something a bar appears at the bottom: nothing reaches the helper until you press Save (Discard changes throws the changes away). A notice at the top right then says Saved. If the helper is offline, the notice says so: the settings are saved and applied when it connects.

Commander lists come from the game: until the helper has run once, choose Any idle commander. To pick an alliance member, press Read my alliance first.

Activity and option names follow the panel’s language; in other languages the helper’s own English name is shown under each activity’s title.

Careful with options that spend

Some options use gems, speedups or other items — for example Mysterious Merchant’s Boutique, extra store refreshes in Daily Expedition Rewards, or research speedups. Read an option before you tick it: what is spent in the game cannot be given back.

Activity groups

57 activities in 10 groups, in the same order as on the settings page. 49 of them come with the Solo plan and the 8 in Alliance Management and Kingdom Management with the Leader plan; a slot with both plans has all of them.

Only on Leader plan slots.

  • Resource Point
  • Daily Credit
  • Members
  • Alliance Mobilization Event

Kingdom Management(4)

For the accounts that run the kingdom: keeps your rallies in shape, hands out titles on the King’s account (or an R4 the game also lets appoint titles), finds governors’ cities and scans the kingdom leaderboard. Only on Leader plan slots.

  • Rally Management
  • Title Management
  • City Finder
  • Scan Kingdom Data

Worth knowing

  • Create New Character creates new characters on the account. This cannot be undone: the game has no way to delete a character.
  • With Re-Login From Another Device on, when you sign in to the game account on another device, such as your phone, the helper leaves the game alone for the minutes you set (10 by default) and then signs back in. With it off, the helper signs back in at once and your other device is signed out.
  • Alliance Donation donates gold, never gems.
  • In Gather Gems, each army takes a random number of soldiers within its queue’s Troop count range (15,000 – 20,000 by default). For a fixed number, write the same number in both boxes; a single number you set before stays fixed.
  • In Gather Gems, Steal gem mines (race armies already marching to a gem) also sends an army to a free gem mine that another player’s army is already marching to, racing it there. A mine an army is already gathering is never marched at. The box is off by default: such mines are left alone.
  • Gather Gems (Fast) has the same kind of settings as Gather Gems, including each queue’s troop range, but finds gem mines faster. Turn on only one of the two: they would compete for the same armies.
  • In Chain Barbarians, every ticked army chains in the field at the same time. In the field at the same time keeps fewer out: the helper sends the first ticked army whose commanders are free and the others are spares. An army walking home counts until it reaches the city. More armies kill faster and use up action points sooner.
  • With Chain Barbarians and Gather Gems on the same account, gathering can hold every march queue; the chain then waits, sometimes for hours. Tick Recall a gathering army when every march queue is busy and, once the chain has the action points to start, the helper calls the gathering army closest to the city home and keeps its queue for the chain; gem armies go back out afterwards.
  • Alliance Mobilization Quests takes quests from your alliance’s Alliance Mobilization board, does them and hands each one in as soon as the game counts it done. The other activities keep running: gathering and barbarian quests use the armies that are free. It never takes a quest the helper cannot finish, such as a purchase, and never pays gems for more quests.
  • Bastion Quests and Alliance Mobilization Quests train, for each kind of their training, power and speedup quests, the troop types ticked under that kind’s box in their settings, at the tier and batch size set in Train Troops. A kind with no type ticked is not taken.
  • Under the settings of Members you see your alliance’s members and pending applications; Read from the game reads them from the game while the helper runs. If the account is R4 or the leader, you can promote or demote a member, kick a member or answer an application from there. An R4 cannot change the rank of another R4 or kick them.
  • Under the settings of Alliance Mobilization Event is the Mobilization board: Read from the game reads your alliance’s quests from the game while the helper runs, with their points and the member who holds each one, and Refresh swaps a free quest for a new one. Only R4 or the leader can refresh; a refreshed place shows its new quest five minutes later.
  • Title Management works only on the King’s account or an R4 account that also has the in-game right to appoint titles. Kingdom Management and Alliance Management activities work only on Leader plan slots. Rally and title records appear as a table under each activity’s settings, and you can download them as an Excel file.
  • Under the settings of City Finder, write a governor’s ID or name and press Search: the result shows where their city is, with their alliance, power and kill points; if the governor is not found, try again later. An ID finds any governor on the map this account is on, in your alliance or not; a name is found only when it appears in your alliance, in a kingdom scan or in the Kingdom city ledger. City Finder asks the game itself, without moving the camera. Below are its latest results and the Kingdom city ledger: the cities that every slot on the same map has found (your kingdom’s map at home, the KvK map during KvK), searchable by name or governor ID.
  • Scan Kingdom Data sends no march and spends nothing. It scans when you press Scan now in its settings; its results appear there.

Settings per character

A Rise of Kingdoms account can hold several characters. On a slot with the Solo plan, the helper can switch between them, and each character can run its own settings.

  1. 1

Switch on Switch Character and set after how many minutes it switches (it picks a random time between the two numbers).

  2. 2

In the Characters bar at the top of the settings page, choose Each its own settings.

  3. 3

In Characters in the rotation, under the settings of Switch Character, press Read the character list. The list comes from the game.

  4. 4

In the bar, press a character. Without its own settings the page opens as a copy of the Shared settings; change something and save, and the character has its own settings. Activities that differ from the shared settings are marked differs, and Make it like the shared settings sets one back to the shared settings. On its page you can also set how long its turn lasts: longer for a character that chains barbarians, shorter for one that only gathers.

Choosing who rotates

In Characters in the rotation, untick a character to leave it out of the rotation; with every character ticked the helper rotates through all of them. The list is split into starred and not starred characters, and the box at the top of each group ticks or unticks the whole group. Tick Switch characters in Star Characters to rotate only through the characters you starred on the game’s Characters page.

Characters with their own settings and the main page

A character with its own settings plays only with the settings on its own page; a change on the shared settings reaches it only if you choose so. When you save the shared settings and some characters have their own, the panel asks: tick the characters that should get the change too. Only the changed settings are written to them; everything else they have stays. To change a single character, choose it in the Characters bar; press Use the shared settings in its band to make it play with the shared settings again.

Profiles

A profile is a complete set of settings you load in one go. The Profile list at the top of the settings page has two groups: Ready-made and My profiles.

  • Loading a profile — choose one and its settings fill the page. Check them, then press Save. The profile replaces the settings of the slot, except character switching and per-character settings, which stay as they are.
  • Your own profiles — Save as profile keeps the settings on the page as your own profile, which you can then load on any of your slots. Manage my profiles lets you rename or delete them. You can keep up to 20.

The smart scheduler can load a profile by itself when a run time starts — a different one for the day and the night, for example.

Smart scheduler

The smart scheduler starts the helper at the times you choose and stops it when the time is up.

Press EDIT SCHEDULER on the smart scheduler card of your slot.

The smart scheduler: run times in UTC, each with its own profile and random offset, and the plan for today.
  1. 1On or off — adding a range switches Run this slot on a schedule on automatically. With it off, the helper runs only when you start it.
  2. 2Run times — add up to 8, for example 09:00–13:00 and 22:00–02:00; a run time can go past midnight. Run times may touch but not overlap, and each lasts at least half an hour. All times are in UTC; the window shows what time it is in UTC right now.
  3. 3Profile and offset — each run time can load a profile when it starts, and a random offset of up to 30 minutes moves its start and stop, differently every day, so no two days look the same.
  4. 4Today’s plan — lists which profile runs when and the total run time of the day.
  • Inside a run time the helper runs for the whole time, even when its tasks are done; run times that touch hand over without a stop. When the time is up the helper stops. A run time with less than 15 minutes left is not started.
  • If you press START or STOP yourself, the scheduler waits until the next run time begins or ends. The card on your slot shows when the next start is due.
  • The scheduler never starts an expired slot; the schedule carries on once the slot is renewed.

Leave some hours free

Gaps between run times are a good habit — and the easiest way to play the account yourself without stopping the helper by hand.

Daily gains

Daily gains, under the resources of your slot, shows the resources in your city now and what came into the cities on each day (gathering, city production, alliance territory and rewards; spending is not subtracted). While the helper runs, today’s totals are updated about once a minute. Days follow UTC time.

Daily gains: what came into the cities on each day and what the helper did.
  1. 1Period, resource and character — choose the last 14 or 30 days and which resource the chart shows; when the account has several characters, you can also see one of them on its own.
  2. 2Chart — one bar per day; a day with only a faint mark at the bottom means the helper sent nothing that day, an empty day means nothing of that resource came in.
  3. 3Summary — the total, the average per active day, the best day and the number of active days; a table below lists every day.
  4. 4What the helper did — barbarians defeated, gem mines gathered, fort rallies started and rallies joined, day by day.

Event log

The Event log on the right of your panel lists what the helper does, as it happens. It refreshes itself every few seconds and keeps the last 7 days.

The event log: filter tabs, a coloured tag on every line, and how many lines to show.
  1. 1Tabs — show everything, or only gathering, barbarians and rallies, rewards or alliance lines.
  2. 2Lines — each line is short: the time and the activity, in the helper’s own English words; the same line repeated within a few minutes shows once. Errors are shown in red. On a filter tab every line also gets a coloured tag.
  3. 3How many lines and clear — Last 20 chooses how many lines you see (20, 50 or 100), and Clear only empties the screen: nothing is deleted and new lines keep coming.

Short technical hiccups that fix themselves are left out, so the lines you see are the ones that matter.

Account, notifications, app and Telegram

The bar at the top is the same on every page of your panel.

  • Menu — My Panel, Guide and My Account; the language button switches the panel’s language, and Sign out signs you out on all your devices.
  • Your account — My Account shows your name and e-mail, turns notifications on (see below) and lets you change your panel password (at least 8 characters); your other devices are then signed out. For security, changing the password also removes the account’s notification devices and Telegram link — turn them on again afterwards.
  • On a phone — the menu button at the top holds these links, Support, Discord and Telegram, and the bar at the bottom of the screen has My slots, Settings, Scheduler and Guide: your slots, the settings and smart scheduler of the slot you chose, and this guide.
  • Notices — news from our team, such as planned maintenance, arrives in the bell at the top of your panel. With notifications on, it reaches your phone too.

Use it as an app

Install the panel on your phone or computer and it opens from its own icon, full screen or in a window of its own. On Android, and in Chrome or Edge on a computer, press Install on the Use FanBot as an app card of My Panel. On iPhone and iPad, tap Share in Safari, then “Add to Home Screen”; on a Mac, choose File, then “Add to Dock” in Safari. No card? Your browser’s menu has “Install app” or “Add to Home screen”.

Notifications

Your phone or computer can tell you when something needs your attention. Press Turn on notifications on this device on My Account and allow notifications when the browser asks; Send a test notification checks that they arrive. Turn them on once on each device you want them on.

There you choose which of these you hear about; your choice applies to all your devices:

  • Signed out of the game
  • Slot stuck or restarted
  • Period ending
  • Anti-cheat warning mail
  • Game account sign-in
  • Signed in on another device
  • Army attacked
  • Daily summary
  • Scheduler
  • Announcements
  • Support replies
  • New support messages

The bell at the top of the panel keeps the same notifications for 30 days, also on a device where you never turned them on. The number on the bell shows the new ones; opening it marks them as read. Your choices on My Account decide what lands there too.

On iPhone and iPad, notifications work only when the panel is on your home screen and you open it from there.

Telegram

Link your account to our Telegram bot and you can do some of your panel’s work from Telegram too.

  • Linking — My Account → Telegram → Create link, then open it in Telegram and press Start. The bot shows your account’s masked e-mail; press Confirm and the page switches to “Linked” by itself. If the chat is already linked to another panel account, remove that link first — there under My Account → Telegram, or with /unlink in the bot. You can unlink at any time in the same place.
  • Notifications — everything that comes as a web notification arrives in Telegram too; the switches above decide which.
  • 📊 My slots — each slot’s status (running, stopped, offline), its governor and power, the days left and today’s gains.
  • 🎫 Support — see your tickets and open a new one; our reply arrives in Telegram in full, and ↩️ Reply lets you answer from there. Use the panel to add images.
  • ❓ FAQ — short answers to common questions; the bot’s 🛒 How to buy and price pages are open to everyone too.
  • 📖 Guide — what each activity does and what its settings mean, group by group, open to everyone. With your account linked, 🛠 Set it up in the panel opens that activity in your slot’s settings. The other guide topics open this page.
  • Commands — /menu, /slots, /support, /faq, /guide, /language, and /cancel to drop a ticket you are writing.

Good habits

A few habits that save trouble later.

Look in now and then. If the game stops on a screen the helper does not expect, the helper can wait there for a long time. A glance at the latest picture and the event log catches it early. With notifications on, your phone tells you when the account is signed out or a slot gets stuck.
  • Start small. On a new account, switch on a few activities first and add more once they run well.
  • Read before you spend. Options that use gems or items do exactly that. Tick them only when you mean it.
  • Give the account a break. A few hours off every day is easy to set up with the smart scheduler.

Support

For anything this guide does not answer, open a ticket under Support. It works like a conversation: you write, our team answers on the same page.

  • Opening a ticket — press New ticket, choose what it is about and, if it concerns a slot, pick the slot. Describe what happened and since when. The form also points to guide sections that may already have the answer.
  • From your slot — Get help, at the top of your slot next to START / STOP, opens the form with that slot already chosen. On an expired slot the type Purchase or extension is chosen too, so you can ask to renew it.
  • Answers — when our team replies, the ticket shows Answered. With notifications on, your phone tells you too.
  • From Telegram — if you linked Telegram, you can also open tickets with the bot’s 🎫 Support button and answer ours with ↩️ Reply. More under Telegram above.
  • Images — add up to 3 images to a message (PNG, JPEG or WebP, up to 2 MB each) with the button under the text box, or paste a screenshot into the box.
  • Closing — close a ticket once it is solved. You can still write to it for 3 days and it opens again; closed tickets are deleted after 5 days.
  • Limits — you can have up to 3 open tickets at a time and open up to 6 new tickets in 24 hours; the images on all your tickets together may take up to 60 MB (space frees up as closed tickets are deleted). A ticket with no activity for 30 days closes by itself; like any closed ticket, you can still write to it for 3 days and it is deleted 5 days after closing.
  • Languages — our team answers in English and Turkish, so please write in one of them.

Questions

Do you need my game password?
Not necessarily. The code sign-in needs no password: Lilith e-mails you a code and you type it on the panel. If you choose the password sign-in, your password is typed into the game once and deleted right away; we never store it. The game stays signed in on your slot’s device, so the helper can keep playing.
The game wants me to type something. What now?
The live screen is for watching only. To sign in, use Game account at the top of your slot; for anything else, write to us under Support and we will help.
I saved my settings but nothing changed.
After saving, a notice at the top right says Saved once the helper has them, or that the helper is offline: then they are applied when it connects. If the helper cannot apply them, a red notice says why. An activity whose switch is off never runs, however its options are set.
My slot says Device not responding.
The helper cannot reach the game. It usually recovers within a few minutes; if not, write to us under Support.
Why can I open the live screen only a few times an hour?
Each live view keeps a stream running from the helper’s computer, which shares that computer with the game. The limit keeps every slot running smoothly. The latest picture on your slot is renewed about once a minute and does not count.
What happens if the game warns my account?
If the game sends the account an anti-cheat warning mail, the helper keeps playing; you can read the mail in the game. If you would rather give the account a break, stop the helper yourself — and if the smart scheduler is on, turn it off for that break, otherwise it starts the helper at the next run time. With notifications on, your phone tells you when such a mail arrives.
Can I play on my phone at the same time?
Rise of Kingdoms allows one active session per account. A running helper signs back in when the game asks, which ends your phone session — unless you switch on Re-Login From Another Device: then it waits the minutes you set before signing back in. For longer play, stop the helper or leave yourself free hours with the smart scheduler.
Can I get notifications on my phone?
Yes. Open My Account, press Turn on notifications on this device and allow notifications. On iPhone and iPad, first add the panel to your home screen and open it from there. You choose which events you hear about, for example a sign-out, a stuck slot, an attack on a gathering army or your period ending.
My slot expired. Are my settings gone?
Not straight away: settings are kept for 3 days after your period ends (1 day after a trial). Ask for an extension under Support in time and press START. Your own profiles are kept even after that. With notifications on, you are reminded 3 days and 1 day before your period ends. In the last 3 days and after your period ends, a warning strip also appears at the top of your panel, even with notifications off.
How do I add another game account?
Each account needs its own slot. Open a ticket under Support (purchase or extension); the new slot appears in the list on the left of your panel.

Still stuck?

Open a ticket under Support and pick the slot it is about. We answer there.
